Meet Mrs. Langston

Dear Families,

Welcome to First Grade! My name is Shannon Langston. I have been teaching first grade for eleven years. I started out here at BES, then opened McCormick in 2003. I came back to Boyd in 2007. I grew up right here in Milford, graduating from MHS. I went on to Miami University where I received my Bachelor of Science in Education. In 2005 I earned my Masters in Elementary Education in Reading through Xavier University, which allowed me to earn my Reading Endorsement in addition to my teaching license.

First Grade is such a magical year. I love taking students on an educational journey. I am passionate about our academic goals in first grade. In addition, I am dedicated to technology intergration, environmental education, student-centered classroom environment, and parent communication.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by. I am so excited about our upcoming year together. You can learn a little more about me below.

Yours in Education,

Shannon Langston
